Fish or Not helps compare fishing windows, nearby waters, recorded fish species, and the gear already on hand. The native iPhone and iPad app combines Apple Maps travel estimates with NOAA/NWS forecasts and Minnesota DNR records.
Explainable recommendations
Preferences, favorites, and gear stay in a local profile. Results explain their comparison scope and data sources, with explicit handling for missing information. The statewide directory is broader than the set of waters eligible for trip recommendations.
Current stage
Fish or Not is available on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. Scores describe trip-weather suitability, not catch probability, and do not establish ice or water safety.
