What has my attention.
A small snapshot of work, learning, and life in progress.
Research & work
I’m a Senior Research Chemist at 3M in St. Paul, Minnesota, working in materials research. My scientific background spans organic synthesis, catalysis, and nanotechnology.
Building with AI
I’m using AI tools to develop iOS and macOS apps and independent games. One of the projects I’m working on is Meow & Dough, a cozy cat bakery game about making cakes, welcoming feline visitors, decorating a shop and garden, and getting to know its characters. The game is still in development.
Reading & a second brain
I’m continuing to build an Obsidian-based second brain. Reading notes, project history, and my own thinking live in local Markdown files. I use them to revisit ideas and give different AI assistants relevant context, keeping sources, my interpretations, and AI suggestions clearly distinguished.
From the game to YouTube
I’m also using the game’s characters and scenes to make relaxing background videos for the Meow & Dough YouTube channel. These videos pair cozy cat scenes with gentle animation and music for reading, working, or taking a break.
